Bassmint and Cutting talk M&D deal
(Columbus) - Independent music label Bassmint Music and long time independent music label Cutting Records are in talks where both companies are considering a strategic partnership where Cutting will manufacture and distribute select Bassmint products.
Bassmint CEO Jerry Calliste Jr. said, "I like the prospect of having a company like Cutting Records represent our new Bassmint music products."
Cutting Records has served the independent music market for close to 25 years. Since 1983 Cutting has successfully manufactured and distributed many genres of music from electro hip hop funk to latin hip hop, latin pop, reggaeton and rock.
Among the many gold and platinum success stories in Cutting's artist catalog is the recent two time Grammy Award nominated Fulanito and the 90's popular dance music group 2 In A Room who created the club hit 'Wiggle It".
